Personal, client focussed and tailored treatment and sleep management plan
Using evidence based practice, Sleep Coach Australia's team of registered, experienced Clinical, Counselling and Coaching Psychologists work with clients to provide an individual targetted approach for each client. As well as the sleep problem itself, we work with clients to develop a sleep management plan to increase understanding of the triggers for their disturbed sleep to help them not only to have restful sleep but to deal with daily concerns.
Sleep disorders present at any time in life and in a variety of ways. The causes can range from challenging, life experiences, to poor physical and mental health. As psychologists, Sleep Coach Australia's team use evidence-based assessment techniques to help identify and address sleep and associated disorders.
As well as working with clients on their cognitive skills and understandings, there are times when it helps to work with client on their internal drivers and blocks to sleep through Hypnosis.
SleepCoachAustralia's psychologists use a range of techniques and therapies to address individual client's presentations and needs. These include: Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focussed, Interpersonal, Narrative and Schema Therapies.
Sleep Coach Australia provides clients access to a range of materials in session, and on-line to further develop client's capacity for better, restful sleep.
Understanding the mechanisms of sleep and possible obstacles have been found to increase the efficacy of treatment. This ranges from information regarding the brain itself and the impact of challenged thinking.
